"Glencoe"

Country residence of Thomas McKean Jr., a director of the Reading Railroad and the Insurance Company of North America, and a descendant of a signer of the Declaration of Independence. Built in 1906 from designs by George Bispham Page. In 1925, Samuel Robinson, president of the Acme Market chain purchased the 44-acre estate. Upon his death in 1959 the house and grounds were donated the the Presbyterian Church. House serves as an administrative center.
