Leibniz-Rechenzentrum (Leibniz computing centre) LRZThe name Leibniz refers to Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, a mathematician / philosopher / polymath / universal genius that lived from 1646–1716, and who is supposed to have invented the binary system (among other mathematical breakthroughs).
Note that currently, the satellite picture is rather old and thus does not reflect the actual situation (the building dates from ~2004). On the left (outside of the border for this place) there is a huge, windowless cube which is connected to the main building via a roofed bridge. It houses the LRZ's servers, supercomputers, and other central IT infrastructure.
