The BOnaire PEtroleum Corporation is a fuel oil storage terminal on Bonaire that is wholly owned by Venezuelan oil company PDVSA. Functioning primarily as a storage facility for multiple grades of refined and non-refined oils from Venezuela and refineries on Curacao and Aruba, BOPEC also has mixing and blending capabilities for its stored fuels.
Built with two loading piers and deep-water sheltered access, BOPEC's #1 pier can receive tankers up to 500,000DWT with a 95ft draft restriction while the #2 pier can receive tankers up to 80,000DWT with a 48ft draft restriction.
