An open air auditorium with a building on one side that houses the public library (east) and a stage for plays, etc. The open space is usually let out for various exhibitions, fairs, political rallies and sometimes kabbadi tournaments and body buiding championships. On the rare occasions that it is free, local kids use it for their cricket matches.
