Located on a hill top, it is no doubt one of the most unique and coolest place you can ever be in Kuala Lumpur. It features a look out point tower for visitors to enjoy an breathtaking unobstructed view of Kuala Lumpur with a few restaurants great for gatherings and meals. It is a good place within the hilly forest to have dinner or just a drink and enjoy the cool fresh air and the beautiful view of Kuala Lumpur skyline.

Weekends tend to get crowded (as there's limited space up there), so go on a weekday night if possible. It's best to arrive around 7pm so you can be sure to get parking, which costs RM2 per entry. For the best views, head there after it has rained during the day, as this clears the haze. There are no public transportation to this place, so it's either you drive here on your own, or take a taxi. Besides, there's no signboard that shows the way to Ampang Look Out Point, so you got to have someone who knows the way if you want to go here.
