Detroit-Windsor Tunnel

The Detroit-Windsor Tunnel is the second busiest crossing between the United States and Canada after the nearby Ambassador Bridge. About 28,000 vehicles use the tunnel each day. The structure is jointly owned by the two cities. During the 1960s and '70s, you could hear Canada's CKLW radio, "The Big 8" while going through the tunnel.

Beware of using. US Customs frequently treat me rudely and routinley put me through secondary inspection even when I have nothing to declare besides the clothes on my back and and small cash in my wallet. Once directed an ambulance (with lights and sirens on) sending a Canadian resident to Henry Ford Hospital for emergencey heart attack treatment into secondary inspection delaying treatment upwards of 5 minutes. Claimed the ambulance was earmarked for their "random" searches.
