This is one of the fifty two T-55/Sherman tanks that were captured in the historic battle of Longewalla in 1971......

Now it adorns the Lucknow Cantonment(Central Command) and it is the pride of our Indian Army.

  • Dear i would like to correct you if I am not wrong the Tanks captured by the Indian Army were Patton instead of T-55 .
