Malmstrom Air Force Base
The 341st Space Wing, headquartered at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont., is one of three U.S. Air Force Bases that maintains and operates the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile. The 341st Space Wing reports directly to 20th Air Force, F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., and is part of Air Force Space Command, headquartered at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.
The mission of the 341st Space Wing is to keep America free and strong by providing combat-ready people and aerospace forces.

As a result of the 2005 Quadrennial Defense Review, the 341st Space Wing is preparing for the proposed deactivation of the Minuteman III WS-133B missile system and subsequent inactivation of the 564th Missile Squadron.
