A polygon should show the exact plan of a building, or the boundaries of a property, and the rectangle should be reduced to fit inside the outline.
Residential buildings may be marked only if the House number or name, and the name of the street or village, are given in the “address” fields. Names of residents may not be stated, except that registered Wikimapia users may give their own names and those of family members.
Other private homes may no longer be marked, and are deleted, unless they show the full address and have the outline and rectangle drawn correctly.
Individual apartments in a block may not be marked. You can mark the building, and show the building number or name in the title. You may not put residents' names in the title, but you can leave a comment that you live there.
