The Paris Theatre is currently an 18 & over adult theatre, featuring a large screen playing regular adult moves and a smaller screen with all-male features. It also features female dancers on Tuesdays and male dancers on Thursdays from 9pm to 11pm.
It was formerly a venue where mostly local punk bands played and before that a goth club. Before that, waaaay back, it was a burlesque theatre. It has an entrance to the Shanghai Tunnels below, in which a corpse was discovered and the then owner investigated and jailed. Rumor has it the only permanent residents are a ghost who mostly lives in a mostly sealed-up dilapidated dressing room from the burlesque days (unchanged), and a two-foot cockroach named Ed who lives under the stage.
Late at night the large, plush, dirty velvet curtains sometimes move on their own. It's disputed whether this is because of the ghost or the roaches. The latter is more likely.
