A town and a railroad station, located 80 km west from Moscow.

Founded in 1904. Population - around 18,200 (2005).

Named after the three Tuchkov brothers, who were military commanders and heroes of the Napoleonic wars. Two of them were killed in the battle of Borodino (1812). The aristocratic family of Tuchkovs owned much land in this area.
