St. John's University

The Oakdale campus of St. John's University. Purchased in 1999 by St. John's University in Queens, NY, it is still operated by the De LaSalle Christian Brothers, who first opened it as LaSalle Military Academy in 1926.

St. John's University's Oakdale campus comprises 175 acres of tree-lined paths, rolling lawns, and pillared, Italianate buildings. The campus, and in particular LaSalle Hall, are well known for their impeccable physical plant.
