The Peter and Emajean Cook Residence Hall opened for the 1997-98 school year. It is an upscale residence hall serving up to 183 students during the school year and providing additional housing for conference attendees during the summer. The building also houses the Cook Servery, a dining hall for upperclassmen and residents of Cook Hall. Peter Cook, a former trustee, and his wife Emajean, provided a major gift for the project.

Construction is underway at Cook Hall to add more suites. The $2.5 million project will be completed for the 2006-07 school year.
