This village has produced many intellectuals of high repute and is always visited by great saints. Kataria has been blessed by Swami Shri Avadhoot Ji, Swami Sri Permanand Ji, Swami Sri Vishnu Ji, Swami Sri Omprakash Ji, Swami Sri Atma nand Ji and his Guru Ji Maharaj.
The Thakurwadi (temple of Radha Krishna, Mahaveer Ji and Shankaji) adds a great deal to the glory of Kataria.
This village is also known for Late Sri Arjun Singh who was very famous for his hospitality and simplicity.
I wish a hope that good sense prevails upon each individual of the holy village and they start living together resuming old glory of Kataria.
