Hoang Thach Cement Company is one of the largest cement companies in Vietnam. Located around 70 kilometres east of Hanoi, the production site spans the Da Back River and covers an area of about two square kilometres.
Employing 300 engineers and some 1,600 technical staff, the plant currently operates two production lines with a total installed capacity of 2.3 million tonnes of cement per year.
In 2000, the company obtained the ISO14001 environment management certificate, the first unit running rotary kilns to receive this certification in Vietnam.
