  Actually, the large house on the eastern tip you speak of, and the two lots above it, all belong to Robert D. Davis. He is the son of Artemus Davis, whom is the son of William Davis, the founder of the stores that we know of today as Winn-Dixie. As for the gold course, it is simply a private course called Pablo Creek Golf Club.
