St Albans Market

St Albans market runs twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10.00 until around 4.15pm. The market was granted a royal charter in 1553, but has been running since the 9th century.

Customers find fresh fruit & vegetables, designer clothes, and various arts and crafts. Tourists are recommended to visit the market in conjunction with a trip to St Albans Abbey.
