“CORRUPTION”
I have checked the meaning of the word in ENCARTA and it means "wrong doing by those in a special position of TRUST. The term is commonly applied to self-benefiting conduct by public officials and others dedicated to public service." Now, can we equate corruption to a shrinking circle of loyalty? From loyalty to our country, to loyalty to ones clan or family only? Can we equate corruption to unpatriotism? Was it patriotic to say "bayan muna bago pamilya" or "pamilya muna bago ang bayan". So how do you really equate corruption folks?...
