The famous Indian percussionist Trilok Gurtu passed out from this school in 1968. Fr. Fonseca was the Principal of the school then. I wish other exes of the school could write in their comments and share anecdotes.

I passed out of this school in 1965. Amongst my schoolmates, I recall Tahir, Reynolds, Gerald Mascarenhas, Chinki, Pashmi etc etc.
We had teachers like M/S Vaz, Abraham, Pande, Pathak, Mathias etc.
Those were the days my friend!
One only realises the value of that time after it is too late.

I started my life in this school in 1981 and finished SSC in 1991-I made a promise then-that I shall return to this school ever again - only when I am truly successful in life. And I think the time has come-now in 2008 when I have a Masters Degree in Engineering.

I owe it all to the exceptionallly good teachers in my time and the Headmaster C'dsouza.

Also I cannot forget my good teachers- I do hope this school has still maintained its high standards.

One of the best schools of Bombay where the students were prepared for the great wide world outside. the sclool was top at the the Bombay school sports under the guidence of sir, John Crasto and support of principal Fr. Prax Pereira we also had very good teachers I passed through this my school from 1961 to 1973 from KG to the 11th SSC. we had greatsports men in our time in Percy & Nowzar Irani the black belt Vispi Kapadia, Aurther menezes, Jpquim Pinto, Jairaj Bajaj,I remember a lot of my classmates Julius, Gabriel, Patric, Henry, Salim, Farook, Savio Blaise etc. I too was a sports man. It was the effort and encouragement of our teachers I could get a start in life, Today I a ship surveyor, a chartered engineer and have sailed around the world for over 20 years been building and surveying ships for last 10 years yes it all started from this great school the place I will never forget. Many agreat Indian including the great RAJ KAPOOR passed out of this school.

I passed out from this wonderful school in 1976. This was the first and only year where we had the higher secondary class which had boys and girls. It was such a romance between the tenth and the eleventh standard class. I fell head over heals over a beautiful girl and this year we celebrated our silver wedding anniversary. My teachers were loving, and excellent educators. I will be forever grateful for their wisdom. My frieds were Oliver Pereira, Effendi Ishaq, Kaiser and Ranjan Biswas. I have lost contacts with all of them. Thank you ANZA

ANZA... just came through a memory lane. This was unarguably one of the good school in Byculla. A historic place from where many great & successful people have passed through. when I think of ANZA I remember my then firends... Christopher Pinto, Denis, Rehan, Deepak... OMG I have forgot some name already... anyway I remember and cherish those memory... I really miss those days. I passed out in 1996/97 SSC the first year when there was no farewell party thrown as it was one of the most mischievous batch of all time ahahah..I am great full to my teachers like Bohra sir, Ms. Electra, Sir Euegune, Sir Virani & Dhanani, Miss Maria, ms Shaila(librarian) and many more...

Guys from my batch can contact me on aliasgarnz@gmail.com

I am trying to find the name of a particular teacher who taught my dad's class in the early 1960s. If anyone who passed out in this time frame can write to me, I will really appreciate that. I have a class photo of my dad from back then and I can send you that. This would be a great surprise for my dad. If anyone else is still in close proximity of the school and can find out the teacher's name through school sources, they are welcome to write too.
