Vihar Lake has mountains on one side and wild life reserve on the other. It is walkable from Hostel-4 (for that matter any of the IIT-B Hostels). We spent many beautiful evenings sitting around the lake and reflecting about life. Either we were too busy reflecting or crocodiles were shy of meeting their skinny and cerebral neighbors, we never came across them basking or bathing. We did have a leopard family visit us from the national wild life reserve every now and then.
