On the Doddaballapur road, turn right to reach the road that leads to the top of the hill. From the foot is 8 kilometers of the top. Historical trivia: Nandi Hills (known as Nundy Droog in Britain) also was a Mysorean Fort taken by assault by the British forces under the command of Lord Cornwallis in 1791.
