The Temple is Managed by Kandanur Nagarathars. Ashtabandana Maha Kumbhabishekam of the temple was performed on June 3, 2006. Kumbhabishekam of the Chellathal temple situated next to the Sivan temple was also performed on the same day | ||||

One of my Favourite temples. Generally for our village marriages, the mappillai azhaippu starts from here only i guess. There's a big Koil Oorani (Koil Kulam) infront of this temple.
