Grossly unaccurate description; The area tags more than one outgoing beach club among which 'De Republiek', 'Bloomingdale' and many others. 'De Republiek' was the first beach club (stand tent) that offered lounging in an exotic athmosphere. Other clubs followed years later. Trendy public (indeed a lot of babes), mostly comming from 'hip' Amsterdam. Bloemendal aan zee (provided that the weather is nice) an outgoing center at the beach.
