Built in 1856 for Sir Lawrence Peel, Chief Justice; later housed deposed Nawab of Oudh, Wajid Ali Shah; now the official residence of General Manager, South Eastern Railway. Present occupants - Vijay Kumar & Rajni RAINA.

The design of this house is similar to Metcalfe Hall which was built in 1844 and resembles the architecture of "Temple of Winds " at Athens. There are 28 columns which support this structure. T.R.Wynne, the first agent of B.N.R stayed in this house from 1897-1902.
